Cost : $5 dollars for New Haven Residents and $10 for non New Haven residents.


Sooner or later a cyclist will have to deal with a flat tire, derailed chains, brakes issues, etc. Be prepared for this and other such problems by learning some basic bicycle repair and maintenance techniques.

The Outdoor Adventure Coordinator will hold a clinic on flat repair, basic maintenance, and on-the-road skills, on Wednesday January 29, 2014 at 5:30PM 720 Edgewood avenue, New Haven, CT 06515. Cost of this workshop is $5 dollars for New Haven Residents and $10 for non New Haven residents.

Please pre-register and bring clothes that may get stained with grease. Tools will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their bikes, or choose one of the bikes that will be available.

BASIC REPAIRS DEALING MOSTLY WITH FLAT REPAIRS, DERAILED CHAINS, ETC.. THIS IS INTENDED FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVE GOTTEN BIKES BUT DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX FLATS, ADJUST CABLES, ATTACH MIRRORS, RACKS, SAFETY HORNS, AND OTHER SMALL STUFF.

Do students need to bring anything?
IF THEY HAVE A BIKE WITH A RELATED PROBLEM THEY CAN BRING IT, BUT WE HAVE PLENTY OF GEAR TO PRACTICE ON
