Megan Boorsma

Megan Boorsma received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Law and Justice from North Carolina State University in 2013. She then attended Elon University School of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctor in 2016. During law school, Megan was very involved in academic extracurriculars. In her three years at Elon, she competed in three Moot Court competitions and secured a position on Elon's Moot Court Board. In 2014, she won an intramural brief writing award there. In addition, Megan went on to win two national brief writing awards from Regent University School of Law in 2015. She also served as a staff member on Elon Law Review and was published in that periodical in 2017.

Megan has prior experience in Social Security Disability through her work at Crumley Roberts, LLC, a personal injury firm based in North Carolina. She also worked for Elon's Elder Law Clinic during her final year of law school, providing free legal services to the elderly community in Greensboro, NC.
